Raising the Bar on the UNGC-SA in 2010
The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) local network in South Africa recently held its annual members meeting at the Barloworld offices in Johannesburg on Tuesday 2 March 2010. Raymond Chirwa, the CEO of Richards Bay Coal Terminal and a signatory to the UNGC, delivered the keynote address and emphasized the role of values, responsible leadership and “unwavering business commitment” as key to building a sustainable world.
The event also recapitulated the gains made from collective activities of the UNGC local network.
