The NBI is a Level 1 Contributor to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) in South Africa
We are certified 100% Black Beneficiaries in terms of Socio-Economic Development (SED) and are committed to supporting transformation across the business sector.
The NBI is a registered Public Benefit Organisation that is fully tax exempt, providing for section 18a tax deductibility to donors and exemptions to the public sector. Additionally, the NBI is a registered Welfare organisation which allows for additional benefits under VAT regulations.
The NBI has a current good standing tax clearance certificate.
The NBI’s Annual financial statements comply with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Current governance architecture aligns with King III and the new Companies Act.
