Activating Bold and
Young people in South Africa have a central role in shaping the equal and inclusive society we are striving for. Many young people feel excluded from important dialogue and processes that directly impact them. Instead, we should create the spaces for constructive dialogue that supports our vision. The NBI is developing this pathway to support and facilitate transformation on rethinking and reimagining leadership with generational differences in mind. The social context is ever evolving, and it is imperative that companies are prepared and continuously create spaces for the inclusion and leadership of young people in the workplace.

CEO Champion Dialogues
The CEO dialogues remain a fundamental lever to driving transformation and social change in shaping the narrative and striving for a cohesive and transformed society. Private sector leadership’s recommitment to actively and meaningfully contributing to fundamentally changing our society by dealing with inequality, inequity and exclusion is crucial to long-term social stability. Our ability to build and enhance representative and diverse workforce, supported by inclusive organizational cultures, unlocks innovations and efficiencies that improves business performance and business’ understanding of its role in growing and sustaining our economy. The CEO Champions are a group of bold and courageous transformative C-Suite executives who commit to personally engaging with peers on transformation issues through dialogue and supporting the implementation of transformation approaches within their organisations.
Call to Action: CEO champions will work with their teams and the NBI to identify one or more ambitious transformation goals and targets that enhance the existing strategy. For interest and support in our CEO Champion Dialogues and driving collective action through implementable and innovative approaches to transformation, kindly contact Bridgette Mdangayi at BridgetteM@nbi.org.za
