National Business Initiative members were invited to be a part of #COP27 at the launch of the COP27 Roadshow today. The last UN Climate Conference (COP26) was highly successful for South Africa, showcasing the country’s enhanced climate ambition, enabled by collaborative action between government, business, and other key actors. #COP26 laid the foundation, #COP27 presents the opportunity to demonstrate even deeper climate action. Climate change is one of the biggest threats to global economies but tackling it is one of our big economic opportunities. The African climate response is a development & investment opportunity which must be realised to achieve a just transition to net zero, as well as climate resilient economies & societies across the continent. We’re calling on South African Business to be part of UN Climate Conference in Egypt, as Africa takes centre stage. Join us today!
