After Sun International decided to close its resorts and hotels during the Level 4 lockdown last week, the group has decided to use the time to make a difference in communities that have been devastated by the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sun International staff at 10 of the group’s properties have donated R160 000 worth of perishable food from their out-of-action kitchens to charitable organisations, mitigating their waste and trying to assist those in need.
