In a nutshell, ToyotaReach – with funding to the tune of R15 million – affirms Toyota’s fight against the spread of COVID-19 in South Africa. We would also like to thank our business partners (CFAO SA, Cataler SA, Metair Investments, Toyota Boshoku SA, Toyoda Gosei SA, Advics SA and Eguchi Iwao SA) for their capital contribution towards providing COVID-19 laboratory testing equipment. The need is great, and we therefore need to pool our resources together as businesses to make as much difference as we possibly can. We are fully aware that our potential as an organisation cannot be wholly realised when livelihoods in our communities are compromised, and while our interventions are not going to solve all COVID-19-related challenges, we believe that they will make a difference – no matter how small.
