CEO Thought Leadership Dialogue: Gender-Based Violence – How Leadership Can Make a Difference
November 5, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
The global COVID-19 pandemic has not only compounded the effects of existing gender inequalities but also increased instances of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Many countries enforced lockdown protocols to curb the spread of the virus, with community-based and civil society organisations endeavouring to ensure continued support and services to survivors and victims of GBV, in the face of escalating reports of violence within homes.
During these uncertain times of working within a ‘new normal’, this National Business Initiative(NBI) CEO Thought Leadership Dialogue webinar will reflect on the various responses of organisations to GBV during the COVID-19 period. The objective is to share knowledge and best practice in co-creating solutions and exploring practical responses/interventions.
The NBI is hosting the CEO Dialogue Series as an important virtual engagement for business leaders to explore both the challenges and opportunities which are central to an economic recovery from COVID-19.
We are proud to invite you to attend the first CEO Dialogue scheduled for the 5th of November 2020.
Purpose:
The purpose of this discussion is to draw on experiences from different sectors around the concept of leadership in the private sector, translating commitments into tangible organisational aspects of behaviour within institutions. This executive discussion will focus on GBV and how leadership can make a significant difference through key practical responses.
On behalf of the National Business Initiative, we would like to invite you to join our virtual event in discussing Gender Based Violence – How Leadership can make a difference (Exploring Practical Responses). Please forward this invite to other relevant people within your organisation.
