Launch of Transformation Blueprint for South African Companies
May 26, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Why is it important to develop a Transformation Blueprint for South African Companies?
Recent shifts in socio-political and economic systems mean that businesses have had to respond to workplace dynamics by taking into consideration various identities and how these collectively impact the world of work. These shifts have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 global pandemic, which has had extensive implications on inclusivity and transformation in the workplace.
To respond to these issues, the National Business Initiative’s (NBI) Inclusion Working Group set out to build innovative and collaborative approaches amongst member companies in response to transformation challenges, with the aim of ensuring diverse and productive workforces.
The Transformation Blueprint is the culmination of the Working Group’s interest and engagements on a range of topics linked to inclusion and belonging that build on best practice. Additionally, the Blueprint reflects current social complexities and indicates how these complexities will impact businesses in their transformation agendas, now and in the future, from behavioural changes to policy amendments. The Transformation Blueprint Report is intended to be used as a guide for organisations as they map their transformation journeys.
We invite you to join us as we officially launch our Transformation Blueprint, unpack key terms and explore important insights from both employee experiences as well as organisational reviews. These outputs provide a deeper understanding of the process required to create a Blueprint that is context specific, yet adaptable to continuous social changes. Furthermore, we will detail the opportunities for how different perspectives can impact company values and transformation structures.
Please join us online on 26 May 2021 to officially launch our Transformation Blueprint Report and discuss important findings from the process of developing our Transformation Blueprint.
