Launch: South African Risk and Vulnerability Atlas (SARVA), 2nd Edition – Johannesburg

The Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the National Business Initiative (NBI) are hosting a hardcopy launch of the 2nd Edition of the South African Risk and Vulnerability Atlas (SARVA). First published in 2012, the SARVA has been updated to reflect an enhanced knowledge of future climate change in South Africa and places greater emphasis on specific themes and case studies. The hard copy SARVA is complemented by an online portal, managed by the South Africa Earth Observation Network (SAEON).
