The National Business Initiative (NBI) is pleased to announce the launch of a new project entitled Kopano ya Metsi (‘meeting for water’ in Sesotho). Kopano ya Metsi aims to analyse the current and potential role of private sector investment (specifically Public Private Partnerships) as one of the solutions to the water sector funding gap.
The project, which is to be implemented over two years, will take an inclusive, bottom up approach through engagement with key experts in the water, municipal and finance sector, in order to understand the challenges and identify possible solutions to the factors hindering private investment.
