Online NBI Thought Leadership Series: Nature-Based Solutions for Water Security

In late 2019 the National Business Initiative (NBI) conducted research on the ways in which South African businesses think about and support nature-based solutions, based on interviews with a range of companies and financial institutions.

In this work we set out to understand how businesses currently engage with the natural infrastructure that underpins their water security, what would enable further company action, and what data and evidence is needed to encourage internal buy-in.

The results were fascinating and we look forward to sharing and debating the findings with you. The findings will also inform the NBI’s involvement in this field for the next 3 years, so we welcome your further guidance and inputs.
