Online Workshop: Climate Finance for Transforming South Africa’s Energy Infrastructure
June 9, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
A research team at the University of Cape Town (UCT) is undertaking some exciting new research on climate finance for transforming our energy infrastructure as part of an international project on Strengthening National Climate Policy Finance Implementation (SNAPFI).
The UCT team and the National Business Initiative (NBI) have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the second workshop on climate finance for transforming our energy infrastructure, to present findings of the South African case study for the first year of this international research initiative.
The first workshop which took place on 6th November 2019 kicked off a multi-stakeholder engagement on the transformation of the South African electricity infrastructure. The South African case study will be included in an international set of case studies and learning with teams in Brazil, India, Indonesia and Europe.
We would hope to get your feedback before we finalise this piece of research. Please feel free to forward this invitation to colleagues with an interest in climate-finance-policy issues.
