The morning session will explore how companies can prepare for and actively contribute to the Just Transition.
Participants will gain insight into emerging transition risks and opportunities, learn from private sector leaders already integrating transition planning into their operations, and engage with the newly established private sector transition working group.
Afternoon Session: Building an investable just transition pipeline in Nkangala District Municipality
The afternoon session will showcase practical implementation activities underway in Mpumalanga, including outcomes from the NBI TAMDEV municipal capacity building programme in the Nkangala District. Participants will explore how local opportunities are being identified, prioritised and developed into implementable projects that support economic diversification and social inclusion.
The symposium is designed to not only share knowledge but also create a platform for collaboration and action that supports a business led contribution to the just transition within Mpumalanga.
