The National Government Performance Management Framework requires the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) are jointly conducting an assessment of climate change research and development in South Africa every two years, for reporting to Cabinet. The second assessment is currently underway. Join us in understanding and influencing the national research and development agenda on climate change. The purpose of the assessment is to help ensure that South Africa has the necessary knowledge, skills, technologies and capacities to thrive in the 21st century, with all its changes and uncertainties. You are encouraged to participate in this assessment by attending the consultation on the 16th of October 2018. For more information please contact: Nadia Algera or Verushka Singh and click here to RSVP.
