Operation Vulindlela II: Unlocking Business Participation in South Africa’s Reform Agenda
July 30 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
The National Business Initiative (NBI) is hosting an online member engagement with the Presidency on Operation Vulindlela (OV) II, an important opportunity for our member companies to gain insight into the next phase of this national reform programme and understand how business can contribute to its implementation.
This session follows the appointment of the National Business Initiative (NBI) by the Presidency as its Technical Support Facility for OV II. Since this designation, the NBI’s role as well as opportunities for member participation and support have featured prominently in our engagements with members.
In response, the NBI and the Presidency have jointly agreed to host this engagement to provide guidance, clarify the opportunities for collaboration, and outline the role that business can play in supporting OV II.
The online forum will be led by the Presidency and will provide an overview of Operation Vulindlela II, with specific reference to:
The broader objectives, priorities and implementation approach of OV II
The structure and focus areas of OV II
Opportunities for business participation and contribution, both financial and non-financial
The establishment of working groups and the process for involvement
The NBI’s role in supporting and coordinating OV II
Event Details:
Date: Thursday, 30 July 2026
Online: via Zoom
Time: 09:00 – 11:00 (SAST)
